Barber
Mikee Bituin

Meet Mikee. He originally started cutting hair for fun in 2018, during his sophomore year of highschool. He was re-introduced to the craft around 2019-2020 when he became a client at the shop. Mikee committed himself to Barbering the second time around after seeing how relaxed environment was at the shop and how rewarding it can truly be. His favorite haircuts to do are: Skin-tapers, Burst-fades, and any texturized styles.

Hobbies include: Workin out, reading, enjoying good views, hanging out with friends, and trying out new activities.

Barber
Aziel "AJ" Albino

Meet Aziel, he has been cutting hair for 5 years now after turning his fun hobby into a career. Cut & Dry received Aziel’s endorsement prior to his working here when he realized that the relationships he had already built with Cut & Dry barbers were something special. Aziel specializes in a mean comb over skin fade.

In his free time, Aziel likes to go to the gym, kick back with close friends or family, play with his dog Kona, or play games. The conversations you might strike with him during your cut would be full of life.

Barber
Wes Stratton

Meet Wes. He had gotten a haircut from an at home barber for the first time, and was immediately interested in the craft. He then realized he could try it out as a hobby during high school. A fun, new hobby turned into a side hustle which has now turned into a career. His favorite types of haircuts to do are; Classic gentlemen’s cuts, skin tapers, and heavy styling (pompadours, slick backs, messy looks)

During off hours, he likes to explore new places, hang out with friends and work on art, music, and clothing.

Barber
Jestoni Ganan

Meet Jestoni. He started cutting hair due to the increase in demand for haircuts during the covid pandemic. He had clippers and trimmers laying around the house and a studio in his backyard. The studio was designated specifically for hair services because his sister was a licensed cosmetologist who used the space to perform her services. He figured if she could cut hair then why couldn’t he as well? His favorite haircuts to do is a classic gentlemen’s pompadour with a skin taper.

His hobbies are exercising at the gym, spending quality time with friends & family, eating good.

Co-Owner/Barber
Joeferson Gawaran

Meet Joeferson, the man behind it all. Barbering has been a part of Joeferson’s life ever since he could remember Uncle Steve giving him haircuts as a young tot. Now, being at Cut & Dry for 5 years and a licensed barber since 2013, he specializes in any traditional haircuts, such as bald fades, comb overs, slick back, and pompadours. Unsure of what haircut to get? Ask for Joeferson. He’s an all-arounder.

When he’s not cutting hair, you can find him training in Jiu Jitsu or Jeet Kune Do, bodyboarding, learning to surf, collecting vinyl records, playing airsoft or paintball, and so much more.

Barber
Minh Tran

Meet Minh. He’s one of our veteran barbers who's been with us since we opened in 2016. To Minh, barbering is a form of art and he’s fortunate that he can meet people from all walks of life in this career. If you’re looking for a skin fade with a part, our most popular cut, Minh’s the guy for you. He also enjoys switching it up by doing burst fade faux hawks or classic pompadours, so you’ll be in good hands.

Why Cut & Dry for Minh? For him, it’s the moment you step into the shop and the blue walls and inviting music gives you a sense of belonging. Now, Minh’s proud to call both Mira Mesa and Cut & Dry his home.
